Faith Formation Classes
Our Faith Formation classes will begin on Sunday, September 15th. We have Faith Formation and Sacramental preparation sessions for children in grades 1- High School. We are currently working on adding activities for our 4 & 5 Year old parishioners. Sessions begin with 10:30 AM Sunday Mass (required) and continue immediately following Mass. Participants are required to register and re register annually. The Registration fees are as follows: One Child $60; Two Children (Siblings) - $90; Three or More Children (Siblings) - $120. There are additional fees for the Sacraments of First Eucharist and Confirmation. These fees cover retreats and materials.
Transfers - If transferring from another Catholic religious Education program or Catholic Academy/school, please obtain a letter confirming your child’s attendance and the duration of their enrollment.Please upload the letter to the registration file.
Sacraments - The Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist initiate us into the Community of faith: they are the beginning of our life as Roman Catholic Christians. Sacraments are celebrated within the formation process as follows: First Eucharist and First Penance: starting in the first year of school two consecutive years of formation. Confirmation preparation begins in grade 8 and eligibility begins in 9th grade. For unbaptized children 7 years and younger, please arrange baptism with Parish Clergy.
OCIA - Order of Christian Initiation Adults is available and adapted for children who are not Baptized, and are 8 years and older. They are prepared to be Baptized, Confirmed and receive First Eucharist during Easter. It is a 3 year journey in which Participants explore and learn about the Catholic Faith in order to incorporate their faith into their everyday lives. Please contact us for more information.
